Harrison Poultry Feed Mill

Tuesday, December 18, 2018 --- Construction is underway in Taliaferro County, Georgia on a state-of-the-art 300-acre industrial park with program and construction management led by The Winstead Group and DaVinci Development Collaborative. Harrison Poultry will invest $72 million in the new feed mill and hatchery, which plans to generate more than 18-thousand tons of feed per week and is expected to bring more than 100 jobs to rural middle Georgia. Gov. Nathan Deal, in a statement released December 6, 2018, praised the innovation of locally owned Harrison Poultry, as well as the company’s commitment to creating quality employment opportunities in the Southeast. The two-year project is scheduled to be complete by mid-2020.

The Center for Advanced Pediatrics Breaks Ground

The Center for Advanced Pediatrics has broken ground at the North Druid Hills Campus of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The Winstead Group, as part of DaVinci-Winstead JV, LLC, is serving as Project Manager. This facility will be a new 260,000 square foot outpatient care center and will provide coordinated and convenient access to the many specialists required to treat childhood complex illnesses. The design of this facility keeps patient and family comfort in mind, with respite areas alongside clinic areas and research space.

The Winstead Group has partnered with DaVinci Development Collaborative to form DaVinci-Winstead JV, LLC. This joint venture is providing program and project management services to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to achieve their goal of increasing access to specialized care.

Current projects include the Center for Advanced Pediatrics and The Outpatient Care Center at Town enter. DaVinci-Winstead JV, LLC is also actively engaged in the master planning of the 45 acre Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Campus at Druid Hills and I-85, which will provide the space and flexibility required to grow and better coordinate services for patients and families. The support staff offices are currently in design and plan to break ground late this year. The Winstead Group is proud to continue to be a trusted resource for the leadership of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
